Wieso haben Sie sich damals für Ihr Studienfach entschieden?

After my research, the degree programme was the best fit for my position as a security architect. The modules were exactly those in which I wanted to develop further.

An welchen Stellen haben sich die Erwartungen an Ihr Studienfach erfüllt, an welchen nicht?

The content of most of the modules is exactly what I expected. In a few modules, I would have liked there to be more interaction with the professor or tutor. On the other hand, this worked well in the majority of modules and you received regular feedback.

Was macht Ihnen in Ihrem Fach am meisten Spaß?

• The sense of achievement when tasks are completed correctly, i.e. the concepts behind them have become clear and therefore the exams are passed.
• The exchange with fellow students in each examination block.
• Study buddies have emerged from this and we study together before exams and have even developed friendships.

Was war bisher die größte Herausforderung?

Getting started and finding your own rhythm, how to combine work and study. How much is required in everyday life, what should you concentrate on, etc.?

Was wollen Sie einmal damit werden?

I am currently a security architect and would like to stay that way for the time being. I am using the degree programme as an opportunity to develop professionally and personally in my position.

Welche Tipps geben Sie den Leuten, die auch überlegen, Ihr Fach zu studieren?

I can definitely recommend the degree programme. The first semester may be hard to get to grips with, but once you've done that and found your rhythm, it's easy and it's amazing how quickly the semesters go by.
