What's it all about?

This degree programme is unique, because ...

it is the only M.Ed. degree course in NRW that does not require a B.Ed. degree; rather, it can be studied following a B.A. degree in Sinology and provides the necessary qualification to become a school teacher for the subject Chinese.

It provides the opportunity to specialise in the following fields
  • Didactic methodology of the Chinese language

Who is suited?

Those who wish to enrol in this degree programme,

have:

  • excellent understanding of modern and pre-modern Chinese
  • good grasp of the German language
  • motivation, the ability to work autonomously, stamina, assertiveness, social skills

  • the theory-practice relation within the framework of the teacher training course
