This degree programme is unique, because ...
after intensive training in modern and classical Chinese language and the fundamentals of Chinese history, literature and linguistics, the programme provides the basis for a critical examination of traditional and modern China. In addition, it is possible to combine this subject at RUB with the Bachelor's programme in Musical Studies at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen.
It provides the opportunity to specialise in the following fields ...
  • Chinese history (ancient, modern and contemporary)
  • Chinese literature (ancient, imperial, modern and contemporary)
